Star Trek Discovery Premieres Tonight!

Hello fellow Trekkies! We are excited for the first episode of Star Trek: Discovery and to kick off this site. The show unfortunately will only broadcast on traditional television (your local CBS station) before it moves over entirely to CBS All Access, CBS’ paid online video service.

Regardless, whether you choose to follow the show or not, we’d love to hear about your fond Star Trek memories and about how you became a Trekkie.

We’d love for CBS to make the show widely available and a strong showing from the fan base could be enough to change their minds. Enjoy the show and let us know what you think!

Star Trek Discovery Coming Together – First Cast Photo

The show is really starting to come together. Check out the first unofficial and very casual cast photo! This isn’t the full cast of course but it’s fun to see them out and about.

Even though there have been a few setbacks, the show is on schedule to debut this fall. It might be a while until we see the crew in costume. Star Trek Discovery is set ten years before the events of Star Trek (aka The Original Series), and follows the crew of the titular ship. An interesting note is that the script and flow of the show will be continuous for the first time. This is a departure from previous series which usually had distinct episodes with a few episodes that were two parts.
